I know everyone is converting over to MySpace, but to be honest it does only one thing better than Xanga which is the friends list aka social networking. It's very easy to find friends who've linked to another friend. Now that Xanga gives you option to upload video and audio along with their photo blog option which is is way better, I give Xanga the better BLOG award. Also they have a Xanga Uploader which allows you to upload your photos all at once from the desktop, much like Flickr allows you to. I do admit the social networking of MySpace is better overall I'm not impressed. Feel free to give me your thoughts.

Xanga has an overall cleaner default look. There is a lot of stuff on mySpace, and it seems like there's a learning curve to customization to mySpace. Having said that, mySpace seems to be a lot more customizable than the free version of Xanga.
How's that for both sides of the fence.
gotta be honest, I like xanga better than myspace for the blogging all things being equal. networking--myspace. for my money, blogger is the best...I like it the best anyway. xanga will always be my first love...
Both vaild points. I must say I do enjoy Blogger, after all my wedding site was made on blogger (http://kevinandsondra.blogspot.com), but it lacks a easy interface with media that I believe all blogs should have. On the other hand there are alot of 3rd party software/code that works allowings you to use media with blogger more effectively. I think that Blogger is as customable, if not more than MySpace is, but MySpace has alot of people who have already made custom sites and they tend to get passed around alot. Typepad is also an excellent blogging site, but it comes w/ a fee. I hate fees, blogging should be free.
