    I picked this book up from
    the $5 bin at my local book store (about a year ago) and have not read it. 
    Started to read it and noticed it was much like Brian McLaren's, "The Secret
    Message of Jesus".  Flipped the book over and noticed that McLaren
    recommends it.  He says "The Jesus introduced by Steve in these pages
    sounds like someone who can truly save us from our trouble."  I thought
    McLaren's book was good, but this one is even more readable that his. 
    Seriously this Brit paints a refreshing picture of aspects of Jesus and the
    Kingdom that we've left out of the gospels for centuries.
