GI, Ultrasound, Xray, Wedding Bands and Frisbee
Yesterday I took off work because I had a doctor appointment. I had to be at the hospital early and had to fast for 12 hrs before the test. When I got to the hospital I first went into ultrasound which was quite weird since I'm a man and can't have babies. After my ultrasound I had xrays of my spin taken. Finally came in upper GI (I thank G-d that it wasn't lower, that involves a scope and a part of my body that's an exit only). 1st they have you eat these pop rocks things and drink water. Then they give you this really thick barium stuff to drink and tell you not to burp. The pop rocks then expand in your stomach and the barium sticks to the side of your intestines. Then they take pictures of it using some kind of xray machines.
After I they finished I picked up Sondra and we went to the jeweler to pick out wedding bands. We both got pretty sweet looking rings I must say. After that we went over to her family's pool and hung out with her family.
Later that evening I went and played Ultimate Frisbee at Malabar school. It was fun, but I miss playing w/ Tony. It's hard to believe, but for the most part I was in shape. We plan on meeting there every Tuesday for those who are interested. Monday Jeff and I roller bladed and tonight we are running. By August I should be in shape when I take Sondra's hand in marriage. FYI - none of the pictures above are pictures of me, my ring or my frisbee

Yes. Frisbee.
How freakin sweet is that blue jelly they use for ultrasounds?!?!?!?
Not so freaking sweet. When I wiped it off a bunch was still in my belly button and I didn't even know it until a greasy spot started to form on my T-shirt.
