  • Clinton's interview on Fox News was one of most publicized interviews on TV.  To be honest this is probably the 1st time that I felt like applauding Clinton.  Don't people realize that our media always has an agenda, both conservative and liberal. I think many people have their facts wrong that Clinton had Osma Bin Laden and that in some way it's Clinton's fault 911 happened. Something like 911 is unavoidable until it happens once.  I also am curious where we, as Americans, started to think safety and freedom aren't in conflict.  The more safety measures we put on things the less freedom we have and viceversa.  Now I'm not saying that safety isn't important or isn't needed, but what I am saying is that there needs to be a healthy balance or a tension between the two.  I just hope that we can start to get past all the smoke that media pushes and focus on restoring life and peace in a restless time.  Here is a clip of Jon Steward on the Daily Show, it shows the media frenzy fairly accurately.

Also I bought and watched V for Vendetta, maybe that's why I'm so politically charged for the moment.  It was pretty good.  I'm interested in reading the comic book, aka graphic novel :)   Remember Remember the 5th of November.

  • XANGA Improvements

I know everyone is converting over to MySpace, but to be honest it does only one thing better than Xanga which is the friends list aka social networking.  It's very easy to find friends who've linked to another friend.  Now that Xanga gives you option to upload video and audio along with their photo blog option which is is way better, I give Xanga the better BLOG award.   Also they have a Xanga Uploader which allows you to upload your photos all at once from the desktop, much like Flickr allows you to.  I do admit the social networking of MySpace is better overall I'm not impressed.  Feel free to give me your thoughts.

  • ROSH HA-SHANAH
    Feast of Trumpets: Returning Anew

Sondra and I started reading the bible on the Torah schedule.  We started on Rosh Ha-shanah or Jewish New Year.  Rosh Ha-shanah is the returning anew or tushuva of ourlives.  Tushuva is the hebrew word for repent which more literarily means to return to how we should be.   I really enjoy reading by the torah schedule because it's roots go back to and past the time of Jesus (Yeshua) and how the feastivals are taken in their context in the bible.  With in our torah reading we read about new births of Isaac and Samuel, about the Feast of Trumpets in Numbers, and finally about the dead rising to met Jesus in Thessalonians.  This coming Tuesday my wife and I are going to a Messianic community with some friends. I'm pumped about it.

       WATER

I know that some people didn't like it because it doesn't have a extreme twist, but M.Night Shyamalan movies don't all have twists.  What about Signs and Stuart Little.  Yep my friend Kayla told me that he wrote the Stuart Little movie and I was socked to find it was true.  Check out lady in the water.

  • Lee's Bday
This past Saturday was Lee's birthday.  She's 5.  It cracks me up how much women enjoy dressing up no matter what age.  Sondra and I got her a butterfly outfit and Erica (another sister) got her a princess outfit.  She also got her own CD player.  I didn't get my 1st cd player until I was 10.  Amazing the advances in technology her's costed less then 20 bucks and my 1st cd player costed $100.  Amazing what 15 years holds.

  • Travel Log: Just entered West

Travel Log: Just entered West Virginia. Half way there.

  • Travel Log: woke up at

Travel Log: woke up at 4am and got on the road around 5:15am. Sondra and Joel are sleeping.

  • 6th (and final) Day of Vacation: It's amazing how fast a week can pass when you have no schedule, no goal, but enjoyment and relaxation. Today was much like the other day, besides I think I'm starting to catch a cold. Hopefully it's just being in and out of air conditioning and nothing that could hinder me the next few weeks before my wedding. So same old stuff, swam, swam, swam, v-ball, and swam some more. Then for dinner Sondra, Joel and I went to Planet Hollywood to eat, which was ok. Nothing special, but the enviroment is pretty cool. Afterwards we stopped for Cold Stone Ice Cream... that stuff is great. Then when we got we started to clean up for we leave for home in a few hours. I'm currently watching, The Villiage, while I blog. My favorite line of the movie is this, (I cry almost everytime).

"She is led by love. The world moves for love, it kneels before it in awe."

I find that so true, in life, the love I find in my family, my friends and now my bride. I am in awe of it.
